i want to make these just so i can set them around my house, invite people over, and grab a fuckin plant off the mantelpiece apropos of nothing and dig in, reveling in my friends’ looks of abject horror

not to be fake deep but admitting you fucked up and saying you’re sorry is 100000000x more rewarding than defending flawed views or thoughtless if unintentionally so actions, 10/10 would recommend, it’s not losing face it’s earning respect

How Amazon reviews go:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“This is the best thing I’ve ever purchased in my entire life. Customer service rep was like family. Delivery time was 16 minutes, condition is perfect, and it has lasted me 20 years.”

⭐️
“Ordered a bed frame and got a pack of plastic knives instead. Customer service told me to fuck off. Delivery lasted 7 years. Caused a divorce. Lost my house. I am now going to jail.”

⭐️

“Product was correct, worked properly, seller included extra attachments for product, WAS NOT DELIVERED WITHIN 2 DAYS WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE”

As most of my followers know, and for everyone who doesn’t because you don’t have to be following me to read this post, I’m almost 9 months pregnant. Within the last 2-3 months I have been having a lot of complications because of that and within the last month it has gotten a lot worse. I began bleeding and I developed something called SPD or Pelvic Girdle pain. My job is very demanding on my body and requires a lot of bending (I’m a nail technician so imagine me bending over to paint toenails or hunching in a chair to file nails). I have been unable to do very simple tasks at my job because of this disorder and other complications. Because of the bleeding, I was put on bedrest and I have only been able to work 3-4 days a week, if that, at my full time job because of pain and stresses to my body and my child. They believe I could have a rupture in the placenta and that would result in my daughter being taken via emergency C section so my doctor has ordered that I stay on bedrest to try and slow this process until I can labor naturally. Even so, I have went against her orders for the better half of 2 weeks because I cannot survive without working. I have not been able to buy groceries or necessities for the last month because I am commission based and if I can’t work, I don’t get paid. I also have been waiting for a reply as I have applied for WIC because I literally cannot survive on canned food and freezer food, especially while pregnant.

So that brings my to my point. I do not receive benefits through my job. I will be on unpaid maternity leave. I was hoping to work up until I gave birth giving me a comfortable transition between full time work and maternity leave where I would be able to pay my rent and other bills. But because I am on bedrest for these conditions, I’m not able to make as much money as I thought. Today, I received these bills from my hospital adding to my financial stresses. In the first picture, you can see that I paid for a portion of the bill and they mailed me the rest. The rest of the bills are due by November 26th. At this time, I’m making around $300 a month because as i said, i’m commissioned based. I will not be able to keep my apartment, the lights on, or feed myself until I am accepted for short term disability (if possible. there were multiple conflicting answers given to me by the social security office about how long it would take and how it would work considering i had not applied for any insurance policy beforehand)

And for everyone wondering, my daughter will be well taken care of regardless.

I really appreciate everyone following my pregnancy and sending reassuring messages through my journey into motherhood. It will not be easy for me but I, again, really appreciate all the help and love that I get from you guys. I cannot offer much for donations, but anything that you want or need from me I will try to provide to the best of my ability. Here is my paypal link for anyone looking to donate. Thank you so much. If you want any proof or any more information please message me as I would be more than happy to provide that.

Update: (as of November 23rd, 2016) today I was denied government assistance as I make “too much money”. This was after providing pay stubs for the past month. I am paid biweekly, and the past month i have made a combined total of about $350 after taxes. That is after being put on bedrest for my safety and the safety of my daughter. I still have worked to try and maintain as much income as I can, against doctors orders, and I also hoped that with this proof of work ethic I would be able to get a little more assistance during my unpaid maternity leave and also during the period in which I cannot work at all. I was told in order to qualify for assistance I needed to make less than 200 dollars a month which working full time, isn’t the case for me. Even so, everything I have made this month and also saved up for this impending expense has to go towards my rent, utilities and bills for this month and the next. I have exhausted all options at this point, government assistance being my last resort. I have even applied for desk jobs but due to my due date being so soon have been denied an interview because I would only work for them for less than a month. I cannot do seasonal retail work as it is mostly physical.

I know these posts are annoying and I apologize to everyone who has had to skip over these posts on my blog. I just don’t know what to do or where to turn anymore. Thank you for all the advice, kind words of encouragement and also the financial help that you guys have given me. When I’m better off, I hope to give back to you all who have helped me. Again, thank you. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.

It’s December 6th, I was able to reapply for assistance but since I am currently without income they are still basing my eligibility off my previous 2 paychecks. At my interview this morning I was told I wouldn’t be eligible for the assistance I need until after my due date because of processing times and other things that I don’t understand. I am due December 22nd. I need help during this time as I’m not receiving any income and everything is hitting and fast. Thank you so much.

I have less than 2 weeks before I have my daughter which means less than 2 weeks (and it could be any day now) before I get hit with more medical bills and the impending January bills. I need to get the bills for December paid off as soon as possible, and I really really appreciate everyone sending help. These next 2 weeks will be hard. Please even if you can only spare a dollar or two, it really helps me. And if you can’t spare anything, even if you share this with someone who might be able to it means a lot. Thank you.
